<description><![CDATA[The final project was the first actual project I did for the class that wasn’t a client project. I had pulled the quote I used from a song by Boxcar racer and just illustrated what I saw whenever I would hear the song. The picture is more of an “emo” perception of what the apocalypse would look like. The artwork was made almost entirely with the pen and blend tools, but I feel it doesn’t take away from the overall appeal of the piece.  The first thing that I did was I made the earth, which just happens to be a huge black circle, then I found a city skyline on sxc.hu and traced it to use as my “City of the Damned” and after placing it in the piece I placed a copy of it right behind in a different color and blended it to give it a lighting effect. The red rays are meant to show either that a bomb has already fallen or could also be interpreted as the sunrise I suppose. The original cloud was white and really just looked like there was a chunk missing out of the picture, so I  changed it to black blending back to red to fit in with the rays. The yellow rain was an after thought that just looked better than the blue I had had there before.  But I do think this is my best creation so far.	]]></description>

<title><![CDATA[Mason Logos]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[I was to make new logos to download for www.MasonComets.org.  I took the inital "M" that the school uses and based all of the works off of that other than the Comet logo which is frequently used as a watermark on many pages. Making the black outlines proved to be quite a challenge because I had never made a stroke that was not accually touching the piece its' self. I first Used the "College" font which i downloaded off of DaFonts.com and then proceeded ion addig a stroke then changeing the background,which would eventually lead to a smoother outline, after that I flattend the image, deleted the bacground and added another stroke that was the same color as the background i has previously deleted. Overall I found it difficult to focus on just the school logo because I eventualy was givin all these great ideas. I believe that things are finally starting to look good.]]></description>

<title><![CDATA[]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[For my first project of the trimester I decided to lend my skills to the history department. I wanted to portray an image of the French Revolution, hence the idea of the guillotine. I was mainly conversing with Tim Molnar for the idea of what he wanted; although it did constantly change I was able to eventually come up with a product that satisfied the client. I do believe that I could have done much better but I did hit the approval point and deadline.]]></description>
